Seaport District

The Seaport is the newest neighborhood to emerge in the past few years. It includes the older established neighborhoods of Fort Point Channel and the Boston Harbor waterfront of South Boston. Fort Point is predominantly turn of the 20th century brick and beam buildings renovated into lofts. The Seaport and the South Boston waterfront is mostly new construction, many high rise luxury full service buildings. It is the site of the new Pier 4 luxury condominiums under construction on the site of the old Anthony’s Pier 4 restaurant. Real estate prices in this neighborhood will range in the $500,000.00 – 10,000,000.00. Prices, on a $/square foot basis start at $1,000.00/ sq ft. They can go as high as $2,500.00.

These areas are convenient, by foot, taxi, or public transportation to the Financial district, Logan Airport, and all areas of Greater Boston, the North End, the Aquarium, Museum of Contemporary Art, the Blue Hills Pavilion for outdoor summer concerts, the World Trade Center, the Boston Convention Center, Commonwealth Pier with it’s ferry boats to Provincetown and the harbor well as numerous restaurants.
